Interior Design Project Manager

About the role

The Interior Design Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of interior fit‑out projects, from initial planning through final handover. You will own timelines, client relationships, financial performance, and execution quality while driving client satisfaction and repeat business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules using Gantt charts and critical‑path planning.
• Track project health through KPIs, dashboards, and post‑project reviews.
• Identify risks early, implement corrective actions, and manage change orders.
• Act as primary client contact, secure approvals, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Coordinate design, procurement, and site teams to align execution with drawings and timelines.
• Manage billing cycles, RA bills, invoicing, cash flow, and collections.
• Implement QA/QC standards, ensure code compliance, and drive snag closure before handover.
• Control costs, monitor budgets, negotiate with vendors, and lead value‑engineering initiatives.

Required profile

• Engineering or Architecture degree.
• 5–10 years of experience managing interior fit‑out projects (₹5–50 Cr).
• Proven client‑management and multi‑project handling skills.
• Strong understanding of BOQs, contracts, and billing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Required skills

• MS Project or Primavera for scheduling.
• Advanced Excel for cost tracking and reporting.
• ERP tools for financial monitoring.
• CAD software for drawing review.
• Reading and assessing BOQs and construction paperwork.
