Interior Design Faculty – Full‑time Teaching Position

About the role

CINDREBAY SCHOOL OF DESIGN is seeking a full‑time Teaching Faculty member for Interior Design at its Kochi campus. The role involves designing and delivering curriculum that blends theory with hands‑on studio work, fostering the next generation of designers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lectures, studio classes, and workshops on interior design.
• Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and project briefs.
• Mentor students on design concepts, portfolio development, and studio assignments.
• Supervise design projects, coordinate juries, and evaluate student work.
• Support industry collaborations and contribute to academic events such as exhibitions and guest lectures.
• Continuously improve curriculum and stay updated on contemporary design trends and technologies.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in interior design principles, space planning, materials, finishes, and building services.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Relevant professional experience in interior design practice or consultancy.
• Demonstrated classroom teaching and studio mentoring abilities with a learner‑centered approach.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to guide diverse learners and collaborate with colleagues and industry professionals.
