Interior Design Architect (8–10 yrs) – Mumbai

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Interior Design Architect to lead interior architectural projects from concept through construction administration. The role is based in Mumbai and requires on‑site collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality workplace, hospitality, healthcare and data‑center interiors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate interior architectural designs from concept to construction administration.
• Create space‑planning solutions, test fits, and layout designs for various project types.
• Lead preparation of construction documents, technical details, shop drawing reviews and material coordination.
• Conduct constructability reviews and resolve design coordination issues across disciplines.
• Collaborate closely with architects, design managers, structural engineers, MEP consultants and construction teams.
• Develop detailed interior assemblies including partitions, ceilings, millwork, finishes, doors and hardware.
• Support RFIs, value‑engineering initiatives and construction‑phase clarifications.
• Produce conceptual visualizations and presentation materials.
• Maintain documentation quality through QA/QC processes.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to design standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture.
• 6–10 years of experience in interior architectural design within the AEC industry.
• Proven experience delivering workplace, commercial, hospitality, healthcare or data‑center interior fit‑out projects.
• Ability to lead interior build‑out packages and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards and construction methodologies.
• Experience supporting site execution and construction coordination is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Revit (modeling, documentation, detailing, templates, families).
• Working knowledge of Navisworks, Revizto, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Bluebeam.
• Experience with SketchUp and Enscape.
• Familiarity with Rhino and Grasshopper (plus).
