Instructor – Competitive Programming (DSA)

About the role

Newton School of Technology is seeking a passionate Competitive Programming and Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) instructor to mentor the next generation of software engineers. You will lead classroom sessions, design challenging problem sets, and guide students toward success in coding contests, technical interviews, and real‑world engineering roles.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures on DSA concepts, algorithms, and competitive programming techniques.
• Prepare and grade coding assignments, contests, assessments, and practice problems.
• Provide doubt‑clearing sessions and one‑on‑one or group mentoring.
• Help students improve their performance on platforms such as Codeforces, CodeChef, LeetCode, and AtCoder.
• Track student progress, give actionable feedback, and collaborate with the academic team to refine curriculum.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in software development, competitive programming, or teaching assistance.
• Strong command of Data Structures & Algorithms and proven competitive programming achievements.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities with a genuine interest in student success.
