Information Technology Procurement Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Procurement Manager to lead end‑to‑end purchasing activities for IT infrastructure and technology solutions. The role requires strong vendor relationships, commercial negotiation skills, and the ability to ensure timely delivery of hardware, software, and services for projects and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle procurement for servers, storage, networking, security, data‑center, cloud and related IT products.
• Source hardware, software and services from OEMs, distributors and IT vendors.
• Obtain, evaluate and compare quotations; negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Prepare, issue and track Purchase Orders, monitoring order status and vendor commitments.
• Coordinate with Sales, Pre‑Sales, Technical, Finance and Delivery teams to meet project timelines.
• Resolve vendor issues related to pricing, availability, delivery and order fulfilment.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and optimise procurement spend.
• Maintain vendor databases, procurement records and MIS reports, ensuring compliance with internal approval workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience within the IT System Integration (SI) industry.
• Current employment with an IT integrator, infrastructure firm, OEM or distributor (candidates must be presently employed).
• Established relationships with OEMs, distributors and IT vendors.
• Strong vendor management and commercial negotiation capabilities.
