Information Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Information Security Specialist to join an on‑site Managed Services team supporting a major industrial organization in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on operating, monitoring, and maintaining enterprise cybersecurity infrastructure and information‑protection platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, administer and maintain enterprise security systems (firewalls, VPNs, SIEM, EDR, cloud security, etc.).
• Act as the first line of defence for alerts, incidents, breaches and vulnerabilities.
• Investigate SIEM alerts, correlate events and escalate as needed.
• Support Microsoft Defender for Endpoint/Servers, Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Purview.
• Manage Identity Governance processes using SailPoint (joiner‑mover‑leaver, provisioning, access certification, RBAC).
• Maintain SOAR playbooks, automated response workflows and security integrations.
• Perform patching, updates, vulnerability remediation and regular security health checks.
• Assist incident response, threat hunting, digital forensics and evidence preservation.
• Handle SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle (discovery, renewal, deployment, monitoring).
• Coordinate with OEM/vendor support and ensure SLA/KPI compliance.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in information security or cybersecurity operations.
• Strong incident‑handling skills and ability to work within defined SLAs and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex security infrastructures.
