Information Security Analyst

About the role

Quantanite is looking for a skilled Information Security Analyst to strengthen our security posture. You will monitor threats, respond to incidents, and help implement security controls across our hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel) and respond to incidents promptly.
• Conduct threat hunting, incident response, and root‑cause analysis.
• Implement and manage security solutions such as EDR, DLP (Netskope), firewalls, and CASB.
• Perform vulnerability assessments with tools like Nessus or Qualys and coordinate remediation.
• Lead investigations including malware and forensic analysis.
• Ensure compliance with frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2) and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and business teams to design secure architecture.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and playbooks.
• Support audits, risk assessments, and certification activities.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience in information security.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team player with leadership potential.

Required skills

• EDR and DLP (Netskope) tools.
• Network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN technologies.
• MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence platforms.
• SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel).
• Vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys).
• Cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Packet and log analysis.
• Basic scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) – a plus.
