Income Auditor – Hotel Revenue & Audit Specialist

About the role

The Income Auditor ensures the accuracy and completeness of all hotel revenue streams at Hyatt Regency Ludhiana. Working closely with the Finance and Operations teams, you will verify that daily receipts are correctly recorded and support the preparation of financial reports.

Key responsibilities

• Audit daily rooms, food & beverage, and ancillary department revenues against transaction reports.
• Verify that all cash movements, shortages, and overages are investigated and reported.
• Review and approve voided checks, negative check lines, and complimentary room usage.
• Monitor and reconcile nightly audit reports, ensuring all transactions are captured in the system.
• Provide revenue summaries to Accounting, Control Division, and Heads of Department for profit‑center analysis.
• Maintain organized audit records and support documentation for all revenue streams.
• Identify discrepancies, conduct investigations, and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of hotel revenue operations and audit procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with multiple departments.
• Familiarity with Hyatt International revenue objectives and reporting standards.
