Human Resources Manager

About the role

Protectol Healthcare is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead its HR function from its Kochi office. This full‑time, on‑site position will partner with senior leadership to align people strategies with the company’s growth objectives across pharma, nutraceuticals, and industrial safety divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an HR strategy that supports long‑term business goals and workforce expansion.
• Act as a strategic HR business partner to senior management and department heads.
• Lead recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning & development, compensation, and HR operations.
• Design workforce plans, succession pipelines, and talent management programs.
• Drive talent acquisition for corporate, sales, operations, manufacturing, and support functions.
• Oversee performance management frameworks, including KPIs, KRAs, goal setting, and reviews.
• Implement leadership development, succession planning, and career progression initiatives.
• Lead employee engagement, culture, and retention programs.
• Provide guidance on complex employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure statutory compliance and oversee compensation and benefits administration.

Required profile

• 15–20 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in pharma, healthcare, life sciences, medical devices, or FMCG.
• Proven ability to act as a strategic partner to senior leadership.
• Strong track record in talent acquisition, workforce planning, and organizational development.
• Experience managing large, cross‑functional HR teams.
• Excellent understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
