HR Manager

About the role

The HR Manager will lead the human resources function for an international school, overseeing talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This senior role partners with school leaders to shape workforce strategy and ensure a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for academic, non‑academic, managerial and support staff, managing sourcing through ATS platforms, job boards, referrals and agencies.
• Act as a strategic HR business partner, advising leaders on restructuring, manpower planning and workforce optimisation.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns, drive engagement initiatives and support diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Drive performance management processes, coach managers on appraisals and support succession planning.
• Identify training needs, design and coordinate learning programmes and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Administer payroll and benefits, support compensation benchmarking and assist in budget planning.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, manage HR records, support audits and drive policy implementation.
• Oversee employee lifecycle processes, maintain HRIS/ATS data accuracy and generate workforce analytics.

Required profile

• MBA in Human Resource Management (preferred) or a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• 8–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR business partnering, talent acquisition and employee relations.
• Experience supporting large, diverse employee populations, preferably in education, healthcare, hospitality or service sectors.
• Proven ability to manage performance, learning, compensation and compliance functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRMS/ATS platforms.
• Experience using people‑analytics tools for reporting and decision‑making.
