HR Executive – Silvassa Factory

About the role

The HR Executive will partner with the Amli Factory unit to implement Unilever's HR strategy, ensuring compliance with policies and supporting business transformation. This role focuses on building an inclusive performance culture while maintaining strong employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in executing the unit HR strategy and ensure adherence to Unilever policies and governance.
• Plan and secure 100% permanent and contract labour availability.
• Track and control unauthorized absenteeism.
• Support the design of succession plans, mentoring schemes, coaching frameworks and induction programmes.
• Identify recruitment sources, maintain a talent database and manage recruitment, induction and deployment of temporary workmen.
• Monitor performance of new hires and coordinate appraisal reports for trainees, probationers and confirmed employees.
• Drive cultural development initiatives such as World Class Manufacturing, Future of Work and inclusion programs for PwDs, women and LGBTQ+.
• Facilitate communication forums, team briefings, newsletters and other channels to strengthen site integration and employee engagement.

Required profile

• Experience in HR business partnering within a manufacturing or supply‑chain environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, governance and labour regulations.
• Proven ability to manage manpower planning, recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Experience designing and delivering succession, mentoring, coaching and induction programmes.
• Capability to lead cultural change, inclusion initiatives and internal communications.
