Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily cleaning operations, ensuring guest areas are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. This role combines leadership, guest interaction, and strict adherence to company policies within a hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce privacy, security, and confidentiality policies for guests, coworkers, and proprietary information.
• Maintain uniform, nametag, and personal appearance standards in line with company guidelines.
• Address guest service needs promptly, using brand-specific processes to resolve issues and enhance satisfaction.
• Communicate clearly with guests and team members, providing assistance and ensuring tasks are understood.
• Assign work, monitor completion, and uphold quality standards while mentoring staff.
• Support coworkers with resources, training on core values, and technical aspects of housekeeping duties.
• Handle sensitive employee or guest issues with discretion, respect, and confidentiality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of related housekeeping experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
