Housekeeping Associate – Full-time

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Associate to join our team at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar. In this full-time position you will ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable and ready for arrival, delivering the high standards of service expected by our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest and department requests.
• Prepare and transport housekeeping carts with supplies to assigned areas.
• Enter guest rooms, verify vacancy, replace amenities, change linens, make beds and fold terry.
• Clean bathrooms, remove trash, and ensure all room appliances are present and functional.
• Dust, polish, vacuum carpets and perform floor-care duties in rooms and hallways.
• Maintain uniform appearance, follow safety and security policies, and report any hazards.
• Welcome guests courteously, assist individuals with disabilities, and uphold Marriott’s service standards.

Required profile

• Ability to lift up to 25 lb unassisted and heavier items with assistance.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, kneel and bend for an entire shift.
• Capability to push/pull a loaded housekeeping cart on uneven surfaces.
• No high-school diploma, prior experience or certifications required.
• Professional demeanor, confidentiality and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Basic housekeeping techniques and room-service procedures.
• Understanding of safety and security protocols.
• Effective verbal communication in English.
