Hotel General Manager

About the role

The Hotel General Manager will lead all on‑site operations at Cosmopolitan Hotel, Jodhpur. This full‑time position is responsible for delivering high service standards, driving revenue, and ensuring guest satisfaction across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.
• Manage budgets, revenue targets, and cost‑control measures.
• Supervise, coach, and develop staff while handling guest feedback and escalations.
• Coordinate with vendors, corporate partners, and support sales & marketing initiatives.
• Lead banquet and event operations, optimizing occupancy and average room rates.

Required profile

• Proven general management experience in a mid‑ to large‑scale hotel or hospitality property.
• Strong background in budgeting, financial planning, and profitability management.
• Knowledge of food & beverage operations, including restaurant and banquet management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration or related field; hospitality certifications are a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and people‑management skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
