Hotel Director of Revenue

About the role

The Director of Revenue will lead strategic planning and profit optimisation across all revenue‑generating areas of the Fairmont Agra hotel. You will shape the Total Hotel Profit Optimisation vision, foster a revenue‑management culture and drive incremental profit for rooms, restaurants, spas and other streams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning process and collaborate with profit‑generation teams to identify incremental revenue opportunities.
• Communicate a compelling profit‑optimisation vision to property leaders and embed revenue‑management concepts throughout the hotel.
• Create short‑ and long‑term forecasts to guide pricing, yielding tactics and budget development.
• Chair weekly Revenue Management meetings, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and hotel objectives.
• Own channel distribution strategies, continuously evaluating new business opportunities and optimising performance across booking channels.
• Partner with Marketing to execute, measure and improve digital marketing efforts within budget.
• Serve as system owner for core revenue‑management technologies (RMS, CRS, rate‑shopping tools) ensuring data quality and optimal utilisation.
• Mentor and develop revenue‑management talent, including Revenue Manager, Assistant DRM and Revenue Analyst.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional appearance.
• Dynamic, can‑do attitude and strong analytical attention to detail.
• Previous reservation experience highly preferred.
• Ability to organise, multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
• Experience with hotel systems such as Ideas G3 RMS, Opera PMS, Passkey or Delphi is advantageous.
