HMC Machine Operator (Fanuc CNC)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HMC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role involves setting up, programming, and operating Horizontal Machining Centers equipped with Fanuc controllers to produce high‑precision components.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate HMC machines, adjusting cutting speeds, feed rates, and tool offsets to meet tolerances.
• Perform daily routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and fluid checks to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, tooling malfunctions, and programming errors promptly.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and process sheets to ensure accurate production.
• Monitor machine performance and use precision instruments such as Vernier calipers and micrometers to achieve zero‑defect output.
• Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE, and implement lockout/tagout procedures.
• Maintain detailed logs of production runs, machine settings, and program codes.

Required profile

• Minimum education: 10th standard; ITI or Diploma in Mechanical engineering is a plus.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience operating Fanuc‑controlled HMC machines.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, punctuality, and a focus on safety.

Required skills

• Deep operational and programming knowledge of Fanuc CNC controls.
• Proficiency in G‑code and M‑code programming for Fanuc systems.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools such as Vernier calipers and micrometers.
