Head of Sports Tourism and Experiences

About the role

JSW Sports is seeking a dynamic leader to build and launch its Sports Tourism & Experiences vertical in Mumbai. The role combines strategic vision, commercial acumen, and operational excellence to create premium travel and entertainment products for sports fans and athletes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy for the Sports Tourism & Experiences vertical, from concept to market launch.
• Identify, design and roll out sports‑ and entertainment‑led travel products such as fan tours, athlete experiences, training camps, concerts, festivals and event‑based travel packages.
• Forge partnerships with sports leagues, clubs, federations, travel operators, hospitality brands, entertainment companies and venue partners.
• Explore new domestic and international market opportunities and curate sports IPs, live experiences and event‑based offerings.
• Develop sustainable revenue models, pricing strategies, ticketing and resale opportunities, and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Oversee end‑to‑end planning and execution of experiences, ensuring operational excellence across hospitality, logistics, travel and event management.
• Build financial models, budgets and business plans, evaluate ROI and manage the P&L for the vertical.
• Recruit, lead and mentor a cross‑functional team and collaborate with internal stakeholders across sports, strategy and commercial functions.

Required profile

• 12+ years of relevant experience with proven P&L ownership.
• Track record of building or scaling consumer‑facing, premium travel, hospitality or entertainment businesses.
• Strong commercial instincts with experience in deal structuring, partnership negotiations and revenue development.
• Ability to launch a new vertical from scratch.
• Background in sports, entertainment, hospitality, travel, events, experiential businesses or investment banking.
• Extensive network within the sports and entertainment ecosystem is a plus.
