About the role
The General Sales Manager – VELYS will lead the MedTech sales franchise for the West + South region, driving growth of capital equipment and consumables across corporate hospitals, private hospitals and government medical colleges.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual business plans.
- Lead, coach and motivate a sales team to exceed targets and expand the dealer network.
- Manage senior‑level negotiations, tender opportunities and long‑term supply contracts.
- Monitor sales performance, pricing and volume compliance, and adjust resources to maximise opportunities.
- Increase utilization of existing VELYS accounts and drive new installations of digital surgery products.
Required profile
- Extensive knowledge of MedTech capital equipment, consumables and J&J product portfolio.
- Proven experience in territory management, account development and senior‑level negotiations.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high‑performing sales teams.
- Ability to analyse market trends, competitive landscape and customer needs.
