Head of Quality – HVAC & Cooling Solutions

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Head to lead the end‑to‑end quality function for our HVAC, refrigeration and thermal management product portfolio. The role will oversee product development, manufacturing, supplier quality, testing and customer quality to ensure compliance with industry standards and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with business and product requirements.
• Lead incoming, in‑process, final and customer quality, establishing inspection plans and control processes for HVAC, refrigeration and chiller products.
• Drive APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, 8D, CAPA and root‑cause analysis initiatives.
• Define and monitor quality KPIs such as defect rates, PPM, warranty issues and first‑pass yield.
• Manage supplier quality, conduct audits, and support supplier development.
• Collaborate with Design, R&D, Production, Procurement and Service teams to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead internal, customer and third‑party audits and ensure compliance with ISO and industry standards.
• Mentor and grow a cross‑functional quality team while promoting Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen practices.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of experience in quality assurance/control within product‑based manufacturing, preferably in HVAC, refrigeration, chillers or thermal management.
• Proven track record of establishing and improving QMS, supplier quality programs and NPD validation.
• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Electrical, Refrigeration & Air‑Conditioning or related discipline (preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and leadership abilities.
