Head of Construction

About the role

TG Developers is seeking a seasoned Head of Construction to lead all building projects from concept to handover. The role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective developments on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce construction strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Lead, mentor, and manage construction teams including project managers, engineers, and site supervisors.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor progress to ensure safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and mitigate risks, delays, and cost overruns.
• Drive adoption of new construction technologies and sustainable practices.
• Prepare and present project reports, financial statements, and forecasts to senior management.
• Promote a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 20+ years of construction management experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of completing 300+ residential units.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management software and construction‑related tools.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and contract management.
