Hardware Validation Lead (Silicon Validation)

About the role

NXP is looking for a Hardware Validation Lead in Noida to drive both pre-silicon and post-silicon validation of automotive MCU products. The role leads functional validation and ensures functionality, performance, stress and stability through comprehensive validation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SOC validation and drive the validation team to validate products and debug issues found by validation or reported by other teams and customers.
• Plan validation: define detailed test plans, validation methodologies and infrastructure to achieve coverage.
• Develop test cases, test environments and automation scripts using Python, and use hardware and software tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, traffic generators and analyzers.
• Represent validation in global forums and core teams, and work with design, DV, analog and firmware teams to debug and resolve issues.
• Work with operations on bench screening and high-volume ATE functional screening.
• Document test plans, test results and validation coverage reports, and communicate them regularly to stakeholders.
• Build scripts and web-based tools to automate validation tests and collect report and diagnostic data.

Required profile

• B.Tech./M.Tech. in Electronics or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in silicon validation, including leadership roles in SOCs and mixed-signal/digital ICs.
• Hands-on experience debugging communication peripherals, memory interfaces and system-level validation testing.

Required skills

• Pre-silicon platform expertise.
• C programming.
• Script-based test automation in Python.
• Strong general scripting skills.
