Guidewire QA Engineer – Insurance Transformation

About the role

Norima Consulting is expanding its Guidewire practice in India and seeks experienced QA Engineers to ensure high‑quality Guidewire implementations for insurance transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and execute test plans, cases and scripts for Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter and BillingCenter.
• Perform functional, regression, integration and end‑to‑end testing, validating configurations, workflows and integrations.
• Log, track and communicate defects using Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support user acceptance testing with business stakeholders.
• Contribute to test automation efforts and QA process improvements specific to Guidewire.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional QA or software testing experience.
• Hands‑on testing experience with at least one Guidewire product (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter or BillingCenter).
• Ability to design test cases from business requirements and work across UI, API, integration and data layers.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and clear communication skills.

Required skills

• Guidewire Platform (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, GWCP, Integration Gateway).
• Defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Test automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Postman, RestAssured).
• API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
• Performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• ISTQB certification (foundation or advanced) – optional but preferred.
