Guest Service Associate – Food & Beverage Service

About the role

Join the hospitality team at Novotel Bengaluru Outer Ring Road as a Guest Service Associate in Food & Beverage. You will ensure a pleasant dining experience for guests, uphold service standards, and support daily restaurant operations in a vibrant hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests courteously, ensuring comfort and satisfaction.
• Present menus, take orders accurately, and serve food and beverages promptly.
• Maintain table setup and cleanliness according to hotel standards.
• Stay informed about menu items, ingredients, and daily specials.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and report to the supervisor when needed.
• Follow hygiene, grooming, and safety protocols.
• Assist with billing, cash handling, and support banquet or special event setups.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in food & beverage service (hotel or restaurant).
• Excellent communication and guest‑handling abilities.
• Positive attitude, team spirit, and strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of menu items and daily specials.
• Ability to operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems for order entry and billing.
• Understanding of hygiene and safety standards in a hospitality setting.
