Graphic/UI Designer

About the role

Mercom India is seeking a talented Graphic/UI Designer to create marketing collaterals, newsletters, social media visuals, print magazines, and other creative assets that support our clean‑energy communications initiatives. The role demands a high‑energy attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual designs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce a monthly magazine, handling visualization, pagination, illustrations, photo editing, and layout.
• Create covers, layouts, and graphics tailored to target audiences.
• Collaborate with copywriters and editors to finalize designs.
• Develop and maintain a graphic library of icons, photos, and banners.
• Manage projects from concept through production, communicating deadlines and scope.
• Produce illustrations, logos, bespoke presentation materials, and impactful ads.
• Coordinate with external agencies, art services, and printers to ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• Exceptional design ability with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Awareness of current design trends and a positive, self‑starting attitude.
• Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and solve problems proactively.
