Senior Designer

About the role

Certa, an AI‑first third‑party operating system, is looking for a Senior Designer to shape intuitive, consumer‑grade experiences for its B2B platform. The role is remote‑first and based in India, reporting to the VP of Product.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the end‑to‑end product design vision, raising the bar to B2C quality for B2B experiences and driving AI‑native UX.
• Establish principles for trustworthy AI, including human‑in‑the‑loop design, explainability and appropriate automation.
• Lead the full product & UX lifecycle—from discovery and research to prototyping, validation and delivery—partnering with product, engineering and customer teams.
• Build and mentor a high‑impact design team, fostering critique, feedback and a design‑led culture as the company scales.
• Communicate design and AI‑UX decisions to leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders, balancing speed, craft and usability.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of product design experience with a strong B2C background and exposure to B2B or enterprise products.
• Hands‑on experience designing AI‑native products such as copilots, agentic workflows, conversational or multimodal interfaces.
• Portfolio of shipped work that demonstrates craft, clarity and impact, preferably including AI‑native experiences.
• Leadership or people‑management experience with excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
• Mindset that great design is a competitive advantage in complex enterprise software.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI‑assisted design and prototyping tools (Figma AI, v0, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT).
• Strong visual and interaction design skills applied to complex workflows.
