Granulation Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Granulation Technician to operate and monitor granulation equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role ensures consistent production of high‑quality granules for tablet or capsule formulations while adhering to cGMP, SOPs and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate granulation equipment such as high‑shear mixers, fluid‑bed dryers, oscillating mills and blenders.
• Weigh, dispense and mix raw materials according to batch manufacturing records.
• Monitor granulation parameters, adjust settings and perform in‑process checks (moisture content, granule size).
• Document results accurately and maintain equipment and work areas per SOPs.
• Execute machine changeovers, line clearance and equipment cleaning.
• Identify and report deviations or equipment malfunctions.
• Support continuous‑improvement and troubleshooting initiatives.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma/B.Sc or equivalent; technical diploma preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably in granulation.
• Familiarity with cGMP, USFDA guidelines and pharmaceutical documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret batch records and SOPs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift certification if material handling is required.
