Graduate Fleet Technical Management Business Efficiency Leader

About the role

As the Graduate Business Efficiency Leader you will act as the strategic architect of operational success for Airbus' Fleet Technical Management (FTM) Central team. You will drive financial control, optimise performance management and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives across a complex matrix organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate and anchor the FTM Central Monthly Performance Review, promoting transparency and high performance.
• Architect and implement process enhancements to ensure the FTM framework is scalable and high‑efficiency.
• Drive business transformation by embedding industry‑leading benchmarks, Lean methodologies and continuous‑improvement culture.
• Leverage the local Digital and Innovation ecosystem to modernise workflows and eliminate operational redundancies.
• Design a robust “Make vs. Buy” framework aligning immediate operational needs with long‑term fleet scalability.
• Run subcontracting performance‑management governance, assessing and improving subcontractor performance.
• Develop a workload and resource forecasting model harmonised with the Global Airline Engineering Resource Model.
• Monitor and present department spending (deliverables, travel, training, subcontracted activities, make‑vs‑buy ratio) and provide on‑demand cost analysis.
• Anticipate risks and collaborate with stakeholders to realign guidance as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Management, Aviation Management (preferred) or Aerospace Engineering.
• Recent graduate or first‑professional experience in Aviation Management or with Maintenance Information Systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Motivation to work collaboratively and drive future innovation.
• Self‑awareness and a proactive attitude toward personal development.

Required skills

• Experience with Maintenance Information Systems (AMOS, AMASIS).
• Knowledge of Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and finance concepts (CPN, Cost Centres, RC/NRC).
• Familiarity with digital tools such as QlikSense, SKYWISE and basic SAP.
• Advanced Google Sheets skills, including complex formulas.
