General Surgeon (Full-time, On-site)

About the role

Vidyapati Hospital is seeking a dedicated General Surgeon to join its multidisciplinary team on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The successful candidate will deliver a wide range of surgical procedures and provide comprehensive pre‑ and post‑operative care to patients in our 100‑bed, multi‑specialty facility.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general surgical operations, including emergency and elective cases.
• Collaborate with orthopaedic and plastic surgery teams for specialized procedures.
• Assess patients, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient recovery, manage post‑operative care, and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
• Participate in training programs and contribute to organizational development initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS) with postgraduate specialization in General Surgery (MS/DNB) or equivalent.
• Valid registration with the Medical Council of India or relevant authority.
• Commitment to patient‑centered, high‑quality healthcare delivery.

Required skills

• Proficiency in General Surgery procedures.
• Experience in Orthopedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery techniques.
• Knowledge of Ophthalmology and related medical areas.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities within a multidisciplinary team.
