General Nurse Subject Matter Expert (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our AI data services team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). Working remotely on an hourly contractor basis, you will evaluate and improve AI‑generated nursing and clinical‑care content, ensuring accuracy, safety, and clarity.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed prompts and gold‑standard answers for a wide range of nursing topics, including assessment, triage, patient education, and care planning.
• Review AI‑generated responses, rating them for correctness, reasoning quality, and adherence to clinical guidelines.
• Identify and flag unsafe or inaccurate information, bias, and missing contraindications.
• Provide written feedback, model solutions, and explanations that demonstrate proper clinical reasoning.
• Compare multiple AI outputs to guide model improvements.

Required profile

• Active RN licensure (or equivalent) in at least one jurisdiction, or eligibility for licensure.
• 3–5+ years of professional nursing experience in clinical or community settings.
• Strong skills in vital‑sign interpretation, red‑flag recognition, escalation pathways, and safe handoffs.
• Excellent attention to detail for fact‑checking and safety review.
• Fluent English (minimum C1 level) and reliable, self‑directed work habits.

Required skills

• Experience with AI data training or annotation (preferred).
• Background in clinical documentation review, utilization review, nursing education, or healthcare editorial QA.
