Gen AI Engineer – Generative AI Solutions

About the role

Capco is seeking a Gen AI Engineer to design, develop and deliver generative AI and agentic AI solutions that improve operational efficiency and enhance customer experiences. The role collaborates with cross‑functional teams to translate high‑value opportunities into scalable AI implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver AI, Generative AI, and agentic AI use cases that improve operational efficiency, reduce cycle time, and enhance customer/colleague experience.
• Partner with Operations, Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance and Data teams to identify high‑value opportunities, translate them into requirements, and deliver scalable AI solutions that reduce manual effort and operational risk.
• Establish and implement data and AI governance to ensure data quality, integrity, security, model risk controls, and responsible AI practices across the solution lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts with practical experience delivering solutions using LLMs, OCR, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (prompting, evaluation, grounding, retrieval design, productionisation).
• Technical depth in Python and hands‑on experience with ML models, NLP techniques, deep learning (model development, fine‑tuning/embedding, evaluation) and MLOps fundamentals.
