Functional Specialist SAP MDM/MDG

About the role

The Functional Specialist SAP MDM/MDG will work within Bosch's Global Software Technologies team to support master data management across multiple plants and countries. You will act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring data processes are well‑defined, documented, and delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Get‑to‑Know and Show‑&‑Tell sessions with country/plant units.
• Gather and review master‑data requirements, obtain approvals, and coordinate with the Business Digital team for solution mapping.
• Serve as Defects SPOC for C2P, MDM/PDM material availability in S/4 and manage material extensions, BRF+ rule distribution, and service material distribution.
• Lead user training for the global Drives & Control community.
• Support Process Improvement Activities (PIA) by validating scope, coordinating unit testing, and overseeing implementation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional specifications and mentor junior and senior consultants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP MDM/MDG.
• Strong functional experience with SAP MM and Bill of Materials processes.
