Functional Specialist SAP EWM I2D

About the role

The Functional Specialist SAP EWM I2D will act as a Process Solution Expert, supporting plant users in the Intra‑Logistics (I2D) domain. You will work closely with the Process Responsible team to design, build and deploy SAP EWM solutions that meet business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct gap analysis and capture new business requirements for I2D processes.
• Collaborate with the Process Responsible team to develop alternative solutions.
• Design, configure, build and deploy SAP EWM I2D solutions.
• Assist plant key users during Unit, Integration and UAT testing phases.
• Support data migration activities, including test and productive migrations.
• Deliver training sessions for key users and provide hyper‑care support after go‑live.
• Troubleshoot defects during testing and post‑go‑live periods.
• Travel domestically and internationally for short‑term business trips (up to 4 weeks).
• Support Process Improvement Activities (PIA) by validating scope, coordinating with technical teams and preparing functional specifications.
• Mentor junior and senior functional consultants and own assigned Business Requirements.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of SAP EWM and Intra‑Logistics (I2D) processes.
• Ability to engage with plant users, gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Willingness to travel for short‑term assignments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience mentoring consultants and leading improvement initiatives.
