Fullstack Engineer (React & Node.js)

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Fullstack Engineer with 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in ReactJS and Node.js. The role involves designing, developing and delivering end‑to‑end features, integrating frontend and backend components, and contributing to AI‑enabled enhancements. You will work closely with designers, QA, and product stakeholders to ship high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship end‑to‑end features using ReactJS on the frontend and Node.js on the backend.
• Build reusable UI components, shared utilities, and scalable patterns to accelerate delivery.
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend modules in Node.js with proper validation, error handling, and security.
• Integrate backend services with frontend workflows, ensuring consistency, reliability, and performance.
• Implement authentication and authorization flows and handle secure data processing.
• Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain high engineering standards.
• Optimize frontend rendering and backend response times through profiling and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with designers, QA, and stakeholders to deliver polished releases and iterate based on feedback.
• Contribute to AI‑assisted features such as intelligent recommendations, summarization, or workflow automation where applicable.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands‑on fullstack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in ReactJS and Node.js.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals and asynchronous programming.
• Experience building and consuming APIs, managing state, and integrating frontend‑backend workflows.
• Familiarity with testing practices, debugging, and version control using Git.
• Educational background such as BE, ME, BTech, MTech, MCA, MSC, MBA or equivalent practical experience.
