Frontend Software Engineer II

About the role

Attentive.ai is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer II to design, develop, and maintain user‑facing components of its SaaS platform for the landscape, paving, and construction industries. You will work on critical transformation projects, delivering high‑quality, responsive interfaces that integrate securely with backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Write effective, scalable, and reusable front‑end code.
• Develop and maintain user‑facing elements that communicate securely with internal APIs.
• Participate in system design and architecture discussions.
• Own assigned modules and ensure timely delivery.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
• Conduct brainstorming sessions, drive innovation, and motivate the team.
• Test, debug, and improve existing functionality.
• Implement security and data‑protection solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of software development experience with a focus on front‑end technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and team spirit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in both start‑up and enterprise environments.

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• React.js, Next.js, TypeScript
• React Query, Zustand (or similar state management libraries)
• Understanding of HTTP, CDN, caching, and browser internals
• Responsive design and cross‑browser compatibility
