Front Office Receptionist

About the role

We are looking for a Front Office Receptionist to join Kowju Airport Hotel Calicut. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth check‑in and check‑out experience in our 4‑star airport hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously and manage all check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Handle room reservations, inquiries and payments using the front‑desk system.
• Answer phone calls, respond to emails and provide information on hotel services and local attractions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled.
• Maintain accurate guest records and keep the reception area tidy and organized.
• Address guest concerns promptly and follow hotel policies and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a focus on creating a welcoming guest experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced hospitality environment, multitask and collaborate with team members.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality‑related education or certifications are a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in a hotel front‑office role preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts, as required.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy.
• Familiarity with hotel reservation or management systems.
