Room Attendant

About the role

The Room Attendant ensures that guest rooms and public areas of Kowju Airport Hotel Calicut are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This full‑time, on‑site position supports a comfortable and pleasant stay for travelers and corporate guests.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, including changing linens and replenishing amenities.
• Handle laundry items related to guest rooms, sorting, washing, and proper care of linens and textiles.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and any irregularities to the appropriate department.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Coordinate daily tasks with the housekeeping team and follow hotel hygiene and safety protocols.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar role (preferred).
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required.
• Basic literacy and numeracy to understand instructions, room assignments, and inventory records.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Strong housekeeping practices with attention to detail.
• Experience in laundry handling and proper care of guest textiles.
• Effective communication and customer‑service abilities.
