Front Office / Guest Service Agent – Hospitality Role

About the role

As a Front Office / Guest Service Agent you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check‑ins and check‑outs while delivering memorable hospitality experiences. You will represent the hotel’s brand by welcoming guests, answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival, verify reservation details, assign rooms, issue keys and provide welcome information or bell‑service assistance.
• Process departures by confirming charges, handling payments, issuing receipts and using the point‑of‑sale system accurately.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hotel rooms, rates, promotions and local attractions to assist guests.
• Promote hotel amenities and services through up‑selling techniques to maximize revenue.
• Respond to guest requests, address concerns with urgency and manage communications efficiently.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a guest service or front office role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to handle inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Positive attitude and genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS).
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
