Front Office Agent

About the role

The Front Office Agent is the first point of contact for guests at our property in Pune. You will manage check‑ins, check‑outs, and payment processing while delivering a welcoming and professional experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process all guest check‑ins, confirm reservations, assign rooms, and issue room keys.
• Handle all payment types, including cash, checks, debit, credit, and traveler’s checks.
• Manage check‑outs, resolve late or disputed charges, and complete cashier and closing reports.
• Answer guest calls, messages, and requests; coordinate with Housekeeping for room readiness.
• Provide parking information, dispatch bell or valet staff, and give directions to local attractions.
• Run daily arrival/departure reports, verify special requests, and ensure report accuracy.
• Count and balance cash at shift start and end, and follow accounting procedures for receipts.
• Adhere to safety, security, and company policies; maintain a professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific licenses needed.

Required skills

• Cash handling and basic accounting procedures.
• Ability to operate reservation and point‑of‑sale computer systems.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items up to 10 lb.
