About the role
The Freight Broker coordinates freight transportation across the United States, acting as the liaison between shippers and carriers. This night‑shift position (5:30 pm – 2:30 am) is based in Mohali and focuses on ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining strong business relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate shipments with shippers and carriers.
- Build and manage a reliable carrier network.
- Negotiate freight rates and terms.
- Track shipments and resolve issues.
- Communicate with customers and provide updates.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports.
Required profile
- Freshers can apply.
- Knowledge of freight processes and regulations.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast‑paced environment.
- Familiarity with load boards, freight systems, and MS Office.
