About the role

Khan Academy India is seeking an experienced Chemistry educator to produce high‑quality English video lessons for Grade 11‑12 students. This freelance role involves creating syllabus‑aligned videos and accompanying practice exercises that will be used across Khan Academy’s Indian platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, script, record, and edit short instructional videos covering Chemistry topics for Grades 11‑12.
• Develop practice questions and exercises that reinforce video content.
• Incorporate feedback from the content team to continuously improve the material.
• Ensure all content follows Khan Academy’s pedagogical standards and style guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience teaching Chemistry at the senior secondary level.
• Proven track record of creating educational content, preferably video‑based.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong subject‑matter expertise in Chemistry (Grade 11‑12 curriculum).
• Experience with video production and editing tools.
