About the role

The Food & Beverage Service Associate joins Paradise Lagoon’s restaurant team in Udupi, delivering warm, efficient service to guests. Working full‑time on‑site, you will be the first point of contact, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from greeting to payment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, present menus and take food and beverage orders.
• Serve dishes and drinks promptly and courteously.
• Maintain clean, properly set and stocked tables and service areas.
• Coordinate with the kitchen, handle billing, and process payments using the POS system.
• Respond to guest requests or concerns and promote special menu items or events.
• Uphold hygiene, safety and food‑safety standards throughout the shift.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, to support smooth restaurant operations.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Clear communication in English and local languages.
• Basic analytical ability for order management and cash reconciliation.
• Fundamental finance awareness for billing and daily sales.
• Previous experience in food‑and‑beverage service or hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and carry trays.
• Bachelor’s degree; hospitality certification is a plus.
