Food & Beverage Hostess – Front of House

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Food & Beverage Hostess to join our front‑of‑house team at a luxury hotel in Mumbai. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size and escort them to clean, properly set tables.
• Pull out chairs, place current menus, and ensure each setting includes a napkin, clean silverware and any required items.
• Monitor dining room flow, adjust seating for groups with special needs, and keep work areas tidy using clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Check menus for cleanliness and accuracy, and maintain overall dining‑room safety and guest well‑being.
• Follow all company, safety and security policies; report incidents and complete required training.
• Maintain a professional appearance, answer telephone calls with proper etiquette, and support team goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods.
• Capability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Strong communication skills and a courteous, service‑oriented attitude.
