Food & Beverage Host – Luxury Resort

About the role

As a Food & Beverage Host at Six Senses Fort Barwara, you will be the first point of contact for guests, embodying the brand’s commitment to sustainable wellness and emotional hospitality. You will ensure a warm welcome, guide guests to their tables, and support seamless service throughout the dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously and escort them to their seats.
• Present menus, answer telephone enquiries, and take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of menus, wine lists and service areas.
• Prepare mise‑en‑place before service and ensure all equipment is clean and functional.
• Upsell menu items and wine selections where appropriate.
• Adhere to Six Senses service standards, LQA criteria and guest feedback protocols.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality diploma or degree preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in a full‑service restaurant or similar luxury outlet.
• Alcohol awareness certification and a valid food‑handler/health permit.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of outlet menus, wine lists and pricing.
• Ability to operate point‑of‑sale and telephone systems efficiently.
• Empathetic attitude with a focus on prompt, high‑quality service.
