Food & Beverage Controller

About the role
The Food & Beverage Controller ensures accurate tracking of inventory, costs and invoices for all food‑related operations within the hospitality district. You will work closely with the kitchen, procurement and finance teams to maintain optimal stock levels and support smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Calculate figures for food inventories, orders and costs.
- Maintain organized records, file reports and post invoices using computer programs.
- Conduct inventory audits, complete requisition forms and notify supervisors of low stock.
- Verify and track received inventory, reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports.
- Receive, unload and process deliveries; reject damaged or incorrect items.
- Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and oversee returns.
- Adhere to food safety policies, monitor PAR levels and ensure compliance with quality‑assurance standards.
- Report accidents, follow safety training and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related experience in food‑service inventory or procurement.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification required.
Required skills
- Proficiency with inventory management software.
- Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
