About the role

The Food & Beverage and Event Service Expert will create memorable guest experiences by delivering seamless service during events and everyday dining operations at our Goa location. This full‑time position blends hospitality, attention to detail, and proactive service to ensure every guest feels valued.

Key responsibilities

• Set up tables, event materials and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely service.
• Interact with guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and address any special requests.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including proper handling of supplies and equipment.
• Follow all company safety, security and hygiene policies; report maintenance issues, accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional and adhere to brand standards.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to Marriott standards, using clear and courteous language.
• Support team members to achieve common goals and uphold quality expectations.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb, bending, twisting and moving supplies as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant food‑and‑beverage or event service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to follow company policies, maintain confidentiality and protect company assets.
