Food & Beverage Ambassador

About the role

Join the pre‑opening team at Fairmont Udaipur Palace as a Food & Beverage Ambassador. You will be the first point of contact for guests in restaurants, lounges and banquet areas, delivering the high standards of service expected from a luxury hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests warmly, creating a positive first impression.
• Present menus, explain items and daily specials, and make recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely service.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to maintain smooth operations.
• Maintain clean, organized dining areas and service stations.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, respond promptly to requests or concerns.
• Promote hotel restaurants, special promotions and upsell items.
• Handle guest billing accurately using POS systems.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management or Food & Beverage Service (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in restaurant, hotel, resort or hospitality service; fresh graduates from recognized institutes may also be considered.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
• Well‑groomed appearance and professional etiquette.
