Food and Beverage Assistant

About the role

The Food and Beverage Assistant will support daily operations in the F&B areas of Indriya Group of Hotels, ensuring guests receive prompt, courteous, and high‑quality service. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Kochi and requires flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Take guest orders accurately and efficiently.
• Set up and clear tables, ensuring a tidy dining environment.
• Serve food and beverages according to service standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dining and service areas.
• Communicate with guests to understand preferences and handle basic queries.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth service flow.

Required profile

• Food service skills for serving, table setup, and dining area coordination.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in F&B environments.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced setting, stand for extended periods, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Prior experience in hotels, restaurants, or catering is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and collaborate with diverse teams.
