Financial Reporting Manager – Telecom & Tech Security

About the role

AireSpring is seeking a remote Financial Reporting Manager to lead monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for its telecom and tech‑security business. The position is an independent contract role with an evening/night shift (6‑7 pm to 2‑3 am IST) and no fixed end date.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements and perform variance analysis with KPI reporting.
• Extract, manipulate and analyse financial data using SQL; develop and maintain queries to improve reporting efficiency.
• Leverage advanced Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query) to build financial models, automate reports and support budgeting.
• Partner with revenue‑assurance and other functions to validate billing, credits and cost‑matching processes.
• Continuously improve reporting processes, maintain internal controls and lead special finance projects.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (mandatory).
• 5‑7 years of experience in financial reporting or analysis, preferably in telecom or technology security.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills; ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of US, Canada and G‑7 taxation concepts.

Required skills

• SQL – data extraction, manipulation and reporting.
• Advanced Excel – complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query.
