Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Data Product Lead / FP&A Analytics Lead to act as the bridge between finance, accounting, and data engineering teams. The role is fully remote and focuses on aligning management reporting requirements with analytical data platforms, ensuring financial data integrity across systems.

Key responsibilities

• Partner closely with finance leadership to capture business goals and reporting needs.
• Drive consensus on standardized financial definitions, metrics, and reporting hierarchies.
• Translate complex accounting and FP&A requirements into clear technical data specifications.
• Define financial controls, validation rules, and automated reconciliation processes.
• Rationalize and streamline recurring management reports for analytical efficiency.
• Collaborate with ERP teams to align source‑system data structures with downstream reporting.
• Work with Data Architects and Snowflake engineers to design accurate analytical representations.
• Validate that analytical platforms reconcile back to core finance systems of record.

Required profile

• Proven experience in FP&A, finance analytics, or finance transformation within large enterprises.
• Strong background in management reporting, executive dashboards, and financial analytics.
• Deep understanding of ERP data structures such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
• Solid knowledge of core financial statements, P&L, bookings, revenue recognition, and expense reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management skills to align finance executives and technical teams.
