Financial Controller – Entity Controller

About the role

Haleon is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to act as Entity Controller for its Holding (TopCo) entities. You will own the end‑to‑end financial reporting process, ensure statutory accuracy, and maintain a robust control environment across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end actuals reporting in line with Group accounting policies and timelines.
• Oversee and continuously improve accounting and close processes, driving standardisation and efficiency.
• Perform detailed balance‑sheet reviews, including accruals, provisions, intercompany, equity, tax and other judgemental balances.
• Maintain SOX controls – design, operation, documentation, testing support and remediation of deficiencies.
• Serve as primary finance contact for external and internal audits, statutory reviews and control testing.
• Coordinate and review statutory accounts, ensuring alignment with management and Group reporting.
• Oversee tax‑related accounting and reporting in collaboration with Group Tax and local advisors.
• Partner with central finance, legal and treasury on corporate, equity, dividend and restructuring activities.
• Provide accounting‑focused insights to senior stakeholders and support planning/forecasting as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting, controls and balance‑sheet processes.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 10+ years post‑qualification experience in Entity Controlling, Financial Accounting or Audit, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience in actuals reporting, balance‑sheet ownership and statutory accounting.
• Proven track record in operating and improving SOX control environments.
